Mathematics and Computer Science

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department is designed to meet the needs of students desiring careers in business, industry, and teaching as well as preparation for advanced studies at the graduate level. Students can major in applied mathematics, mathematics, mathematics education, data science, or computer science.  Within these majors, students may apply their technical strengths to secondary majors in many programs.  For example, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, and any of the physical sciences such as Chemistry, Exercise Science, or Biology.  The department also offers a Masters degree in Cybersecurity.
