English, Philosophy, Spanish, and Humanities

The English, Philosophy, Spanish & Humanities (EPSH) Department appreciates your support during M4L Day 2023! We are a very busy department and support many programs, such as Creative Writing, English for Multilingual Speakers, Humanities, Literature, Philosophy, Pre-Law, Professional Writing, Spanish, the Writing Center, and Honors! Our graduates can be found throughout the world, from Iceland to Sioux Falls, and in a variety of careers, from editors to teachers to lawyers. Most importantly, our department promotes a strong liberal arts education that helps our students succeed in any field of their choice and gives them the ability to transfer their skills as they grow in their careers.

We help our students to become critical thinkers who can lead our world in positive directions.   Will you help us with this important task?

You might be wondering what your donations will help fund: The EPSH Student of Excellence Endowed Scholarship. 

The EPSH Department is working to fully fund an endowed scholarship for our majors and minors. How does an endowed scholarship work? Donations are collected, invested, and the investment earnings fund the scholarship. Once we reach our fully funded goal, we can award it to students each year, forever!
