About This Fund
The success of SMSU’s School of Agriculture begins with the people we serve: our current students, alumni, faculty/staff, along with our higher education, industry and community partners.
Our School of Agriculture currently offers six Bachelor of Science Programs and five Minors in Agricultural-Related Disciplines:
· BS and AS Degrees in Agribusiness Management
· BS in Agricultural Education (Teacher Licensure Program)
· BS in Agricultural Communication and Leadership
· BS in Agricultural Solutions
· BS in Agronomy
· BAS in Agriculture (Transfer Program for 2-Year Graduates)
· Minors in Agribusiness Management, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, and Animal Science.
Using employment statistics from SMSU’s Career Services Office, our 100% job placement in work-related fields since 2021 is evidence that our graduates are making strong and positive impacts on our agricultural economy.
We are also serving the youth in our region as we hosted over 1,100 FFA students during our 13th Annual Ralco/SMSU Ag Bowl Scholarship Invitational this past February 2nd.
During this year’s M4L Fundraising Day, we are asking you to consider making a donation to assist our students to continue to be competitive and successful. There are many new challenges in our ever-changing world.
You can help SMSU’s School of Agriculture to properly prepare our students to meet these challenges. With your support, we can further enhance the impact of our educational programs and ensure that our graduates continue to make real contributions to the work of sustainably feeding a hungry world.
